A factory-cast, panel-and-post boundary wall system designed to replace site-built brick or block compound walls with a faster, more consistent alternative.
A precast compound wall is a boundary wall built from factory-cast concrete panels that slot between precast posts, rather than being built brick-by-brick on site. Panels and posts are cast under controlled conditions, cured, then transported and installed at the project site.
Precast posts are fixed into the ground at set intervals, and factory-finished panels are lowered into the post grooves and stacked to reach the required wall height. Because every component is cast off-site in advance, on-site work is largely limited to foundation preparation, post erection and panel placement — replacing weeks of masonry, plastering and curing with a mechanised install sequence.
Panels and posts arrive cured and finished, so installation replaces weeks of masonry work with a mechanised sequence.
Casting under controlled conditions gives every panel the same mix design, dimensions and finish — unlike wall-to-wall variation common with on-site brickwork.
Less reliance on skilled masons and weather-sensitive curing at the project site.
Individual panels can be inspected and, where needed, replaced without disturbing the full wall run.
Panel height and wall length can be configured to project requirements; finishes and add-ons (fencing, grills) can be planned into the design.
Precast concrete panels are dense and factory-cured, which supports long-term durability with minimal upkeep compared to plastered brick walls. Because the wall is built from discrete panels and posts, localised damage (e.g. from vehicle impact) is easier to assess and address than with a monolithic masonry wall — repair scope can often be limited to the affected panel.
Panel height, overall wall length, post spacing and surface finish can be configured to the project brief. Security additions such as fencing toppers or grills can be planned into the post design at the drawing stage.
—FAQ
A brick wall is built element-by-element on site, with curing time built into the programme. A precast wall is cast and cured off-site as posts and panels, then assembled on site — shifting most of the time-consuming work off the critical path of the project.
Panel-and-post construction generally allows sections to be added, removed, or reworked more easily than a monolithic brick wall, since each panel is a discrete unit. Confirm feasibility for your specific layout with the 3Bro Precast technical team.
Post foundations are engineered to the wall height, soil conditions and expected loads (including wind).
