What is u shape drain t-25?

The T-25 U shape drain is a precast concrete drainage channel rated for higher-duty loading than the T-6 product, engineered for locations where vehicles with heavier axle loads pass over or alongside the channel — such as carriageways, industrial yards and infrastructure corridors.

 

How it works

T-25 sections share the same jointed, PCC-bedded installation approach as other precast U drains, but are designed with a heavier profile and load-rated precast lid to carry higher surface loading, making them suited to roadside and industrial stormwater management rather than only pedestrian areas.

Installation sequence

  1. Excavate trench to designed level and fall for the drainage route
  2. Lay PCC bedding (reference: 100mm) to line and level, with nominal slope where required
  3. Bed and joint channel sections on dry mortar
  4. Fit load-rated precast lids along the run
  5. Backfill and reinstate the surrounding pavement or ground
